Glasgow City Marketing Bureau has bought a Zapcat to support its Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race campaign in which Glasgow: Scotland with style Clipper is currently in fourth place overall.



Image © The Zapcat (which was also raced in the Glasgow River Festival Grand Prix during the 2007 Zapcat National Championship season) has had several VIP passengers during the Clipper Race stopover in Singapore. Three Scottish-born world class chefs took to the water ahead of a cook off on the yachts on January 24, and before the yachts left Singapore on Sunday 27 January one of the Chinese lions who’d come along to wish good luck and fair winds to the crews taking part also went for a spin.
