Due to yet another large influx of rookies in to the ever growing world of Zapcat Racing. We will again be running Zapcat Clinics for all those seeking to get the most out of their Zapcat.
The Zapcat Clinics cover four main areas:
Zapcat Experience DayGiving hands on experience for those of you interested in joining the World’s Largest Powerboat Racing Championship
Zapcat Engine ClinicGiving you the confidence and knowledge to keep your engine tip top!
Zapcat Race ClinicLearn the tricks and tips on setting up your Zapcat Race Ready for a variety of conditions and handling temperaments while developing your race craft.
Zapcat Surf ClinicOur surf god shines light on the dark art of racing a Zapcat in this challenging discipline.

Zapcat Experience DayZapcat Racing and Vortex Racing (one of Zapcat’s authorised dealers) are offering you the chance to experience Zapcats first hand at our Pre-Season ‘Experience’ Days. These days will give you the opportunity to test drive a Zapcat, meet the organisers, find a team mate (if necessary) order your new Zapcat, purchase race equipment, apply for your RYA race licence and book your RYA level 2 powerboat course.

Cost: £112 Inc VAT per person, fully refundable if you purchase a new Zapcat Race Ready in 2008.
Zapcat Engine ClinicThis one-day course based at our HQ in Gosport was a great success in 2006 & 07, giving everyone who passed through our doors the confidence and knowledge to undertake maintenance when required.
You will have the opportunity to learn the basics of engine maintenance as well as changing power reeds, stripping and cleaning carburettors, how to change your oil, pre-race and post race maintenance as well as the winterisation of your engine.

Cost: £65 Inc vat per person (Maximum of 10 people per clinic to ensure everyone gets hands on experience)
Zapcat Race ClinicThe Zapcat Race Clinic takes teams and Zapcat owners through a day long course that seeks to broaden their knowledge of Zapcat dynamics and how differing set ups can result in greater acceleration, speed and handling. Attention is also given to the most important dynamic within Zapcat Racing, team work.
Although initially based within a class room environment the clinic moves afloat for the afternoon session as teams are introduced to a buoyed course initially on their own, with the intensity gradually increasing as other teams are added to the course. All with the aim of developing race craft and becoming comfortable within a close quarters environment that is Zapcat Racing.

Cost: £80 Inc vat per Zapcat that’s pilot and co-pilot
N.B. A Zapcat Race Clinic is only open to those with a Zapcat Race Ready spec craft. A Zapcat Race Clinic is open to a maximum of 10 Zapcats per clinic.
Zapcat Surf ClinicThe Surf training is held at Lusty Glaze Surf Academy located in Newquay, Cornwall, Lusty Glaze is excellently placed to hone your skills in the surf. Ranging from understanding a wave to how to right a Zapcat in surf you will learn it all over this two day course that features a large practical element.

This includes course fees, storage of Zapcat and accommodation (accommodation is subject to availability).Maximum of 3 Zapcats on course. More courses may be organised should demand dictate.
