Zapcats thrill Sport Scotland
Thursday, 29 November 2007
On 10th and 11th November Zapcat Racing along with our Scottish team “Marin Subsea Delta Jets” headed up to Inverclyde to show them just what we’re made of at the RYA Scotland Instructor Conference. The conference was based on the Isle of Cumbrae at Sports Scotland’s National Centre where RYA instructors from all over Scotland headed to for the weekend to learn new techniques, upgrade their qualifications and obviously have a go at Zapcats, many of them for the first time.

Over the two days the instructors got a great experience of just how powerful Zapcats are and many of them couldn’t believe how stable they can be. With the help of Boris Stroud, Zapcat’s Highlands and Islands Agent, and his team, we set up a basic course where the instructors got first hand experience of co-piloting these boats, some also turned to the controls to have a go at piloting them.

The weekend was a great success and everyone that took part was buzzing with excitement, it’s a good sign that everyone enjoyed themselves as we kept overhearing the name Zapcat being dropped into many conversations. We would just like to thank Jane and her team at RYA Scotland as well as everyone at National Centre Cumbrae and National Centre Inverclyde for their fantastic hospitality and all their help.
