Announced today, Zapcat Racing has made the bold decision to remove race fees for all entrants to the 2012 Zapcat National Championship.
This shrewd move puts the class well ahead of any other and ultimately means racers will pay less than £5 per race after they have paid their annual class membership and RYA race licence fees!

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Zapcat Racing.
Keep an eye out for our first 2012 newsletter that will make its way to your inboxes at the beginning of January as we have some exciting announcements to make for the coming 2012 racing season.
For Craig Davis (Pilot of Bluesheets I) to be upstaged at a Zapcat race event takes something pretty special, admittedly he was side-lined due to injury rather than fighting it out for his third National Championship title in as many years, (which he did secure, thanks to his stand in).
It was a pod of Dolphins who came to join in with the Zapcats at Fistral Beach, Newquay last Friday, something many of the travelling spectators had not expected at all and even some of the many photographers were caught unawares too.
With the early week forecast predicting record breaking temperatures in England, providing the sun shone we were always going to get a large turnout certainly for Saturday,

With so many results, permutations and lots to do between the last races of the season and prior to handing out the awards at the gala dinner it is very easy to overlook a trophy or two especially when they have not returned from Afghanistan or been included by the supplier in the first place!
Despite the absence of the trophy let's not take away the achievement of Andrew Foster and Jason Peacock in Trademymotor.
Not only a clean sweep of maximum points for Rounds 9 & 10 at Fistral from the ZCR50X class whilst heading off challenges from Exe Jets, Bluesheets I and Angry Hornet for the GP win.
The rest of their season has also reaped rewards but we wanted to address this oversight immediately and publicly and to give them the recognition they rightly deserve.
